Section 1 - Trekking in Juatinga ecological reserve
Days one to three (or four) - An expedition around the Juatinga Peninsula, where you will have the privilege to see fishermen traditional lifestyle, desert beaches, the atlantic rainforest and a lot of biodiversity. It starts in Laranjeiras on day one and goes through the beaches of Sono, Ponta Negra, Martins de Sá and baia de Cajaíba, with stop to swim, relax and eat. This section ends in the Saco do Mamanguá (a rich and beautiful fjord). To get there, it requires at least three days (6h trekking per day) with generally a one-day rest in Ponta Negra where you will recover your strengths and live at the pace of this local village.
Section 2 - Saco do Mamanguá
Days 5 and 6 - In this unique and wonderful environment, you will have the opportunity and privilege to relax and recover for new explorations. The first day we will discover the mangrove and a natural pool, rowing canadian canoes. We will then head to a local family home to have an excellent traditional meal as well as a demonstration of craft. The second day we are going to trek to the summit of Mamanguá's Sugarloaf. It takes about 1h30 to get to the top, for one of the most amazing view of the area.
Section 3 - Sea kayaks in Paraty Bay
Day 7 - Once we get back to Paraty, our journey continues on water, rowing sea kayaks. A magnificent expedition to discover the wonders of Paraty Bay. You will stop on islands and beaches to have a rest, lunch and go snorkeling in transparent waters.
